I had two children aged 4 and 2.5 years old at Merry Journey for one year. During that year, I observed a tremendous increase in their independence and confidence. Their academic and self-care skills also developed ahead of expectations in most areas including numeracy, literacy, feeding and potty training. I attribute this positive growth in my children to the intentionality of the Montessori Method to drive learning from the child’s inquiry as well as the car provided by the merry Journey teachers and facilitators. The school's administration was exceptionally flexible to accommodate special learning needs. I highly recommend Merry Journey as a foundational learning haven.
This is just to let you know that Adoma will no longer be coming to Merry Journey School. She started her new school today. She did very well in her assessment test. She scored 100% in Math and 85% in English. I want to use this opportunity to thank you very much for all you’ve done for and with her. Also, to let you know that if I have to do this all over again I will not hesitate to choose Merry Journey Montessori School. You are doing such a great job. Keep it up for our future generation. Merry Journey provides a developmentally appropriate theme-based program that focuses on each child’s individual learning style. The School provides students with hands-on experiences in language, cultural diversity, music, fine arts and mindfulness, and character building. They provide the children with many opportunities to explore and use their fine and gross motor skills through various activities. My son has benefited greatly from Merry Journey and I'm proud to say he has a good foundation to help him through his lifelong educational experience.
Merry Journey was my daughter's first school. I was a bit worried because she was reserved and took a while to open up to people did not know. I was however surprised when she stopped crying at drop-off just 3 days from when she started. Within a month she was so comfortable that she looked forward to school. She was always happy at drop-off.
